Christmas

Christmas is one of the best times off the year. You get to meet your family, eat delicious food, open presents, gaming, snow, skiing and many other things.
It is very exciting to open your presents, because you never know what you are going to get.
1 christmas day is the best! The good feeling you have when you wake up and smell good food and hot chocolate, and you are so excited to try your new gifts and maybe go visit some friends.
But the best part about christmas is that you don't need to go to school.

MY LIZARD TYRONE

My name is Sam and I am from district 12, and we are coalminers. I live with my dad and my younger brother in a small house in the woods. I also have two pigs and one goat. The pigs are for food and the goat is for milk and cheese. I trade cheese for food so my family will survive, but I also have a lizard named Tyrone. 

  

We want freedom. But the capital forces us to compete in the Hunger games. This year I have a bad feeling that I am going to get picked, and I am really scared. My family and I are planning to escape the country and maybe move to Australia and start a brand-new life. But we don’t have a plan for how or when we can move. If the capital finds out that we are escaping, they are sending us to prison or they kill us.  

Me and my dad are planning to escape tonight, but we have to wait until it gets dark. Me and my dad are discussing a plan about the escape, but then all of a sudden, my brother Mojo heard that we are planning to move. He got really angry and sad at the same time, but he wanted to join us. But he can't, he is to Young. 

Later that night the Capital stormed in my house and arrested my dad, because someone snitched to the Capital about our plan. I and my brother got send to an orphanage. 

BODYBUILDING IS TRUE ART

Bodybuilding is not a very popular sport if you compare it to soccer or basketball, but there are still many bodybuilders!  

Bodybuilding is true art. All bodybuilders are sculptors, they work almost like a sculptor, but instead of adding clay on the missing parts, they add muscle. 

 They try to get perfect symmetry. Everyone wants to be aesthetic and look good. But nowadays bodybuilders are just to freaky and big! They have so much muscle that its ugly, and their gut is way too big.  

I want to achieve the perfect physique. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger had back in the days. My biggest motivators in the fitness community are: Jeff Seid, Zyzz and Calum Von Moger.

HOW I GOT INTO FLIPPING

I have started to show interest in flips. In summer I want too take it too the next level and throw some crazy flips! I am nowhere where I want too be, but I am making progress every day/week. Im jumping up to 1-3 hours per day. All the tricks a can now are Frontflip, Double Frontflip, Frontflip 180/360/540/720/900, Backflip, Sideflip, Misty, and Ballout.

However, in summer I want to throw flips like Double Backflip, Triple Frontflip, Full In, Cody, and Double Kaboom.

However, it is so scary, you have almost zero control when you try a new trick, And the nerves does not make it better!

Some tricks are extremely hard and needs much practise before you are even close to landing it.

I have a pretty bouncy trampoline, it is called Berg Champion. It is a circkle trampoline and it have V-crossed springs! That makes it more bouncy.

It costs around 1186.59 U.S dollars, but I think it is worth it.

INTERVIEW

We were lucky to be able to interview two Eritran immigrants, Liya and Awet.  

Why did you escape from Eritrea? 

-I escaped from Eritrea because the people don't have freedom. The country is ruled by a paranoid dictator and the people is military.  

Why did you come to Norway? 

-I heard it was the best. It is a democracy and I heard it is good for immigrants. 

Do you have any friends or family in Eritrea? Do you miss them? 

-Yes I have a friend in Eritrea, and I really miss her. Liya says. 

-Yes I have family in Eritrea. I often think of how they are doing because of the missing democracy and the dictator, and I miss them very much, Awet says. 

Do you think you want to return to your home country? 

-Yes, if Eritrea becomes a democracy we would return.  

What is your dream for the future? 

-My dream for the future is to get an education and become a nurse, Liya says. 

And my dream is also to study, and get a good job, Awet adds. 

What do you think about Norwegians? 

-I think they are nice and kind, but a little shy. 

Is it something you can do in Eritrea that you can't do in Norway? Hobbies? 

-No, everything is here. 

Can you tell us something about your own country? 

-Eritrea has 6 million residents, same as Norway. It is a rich country with much gold and minerals but most of the people are soldiers. They got their independence in 1991 but it is now run by a dictator. The president controls all the gold and minerals, and he forces the men to work as soldiers. 

Do you have any hobbies? 

Liya: -I like to work out. 

Awet: -I play football and I have tried skis, but I found that to be really hard. 

How did you come to Norway? 

-We came by a boat. We started in Eritrea, had a stopover in Italy a and ended up in Norway. We sailed through Europe.
